After 12+ years in leadership roles within the corporate space, I decided to start my own business. Believe me when I tell you that I experienced the whole gamut of human emotion along the way! Ups, downs and everything in between! I hit revenue ceilings, maxed out my bandwidth causing me to burn out, and followed all the so-called “social media tips” to no avail. I’ve been there, learned a ton along the way and I want to save as many as possible from making the same mistakes I did! What was the turning point for me?
It was the realization that I needed to stop trying to be everything to everyone! You may not know but yours truly was on the provincial and national team for table tennis back in the day! In a time when everyone was trying out for basketball, soccer, and volleyball, I chose to niche down and picked good ol’ ping pong! Why? Because it enabled me to travel to new places, experience new cultures, make new friends, build winning habits, and forced me to be more independent and accountable! Many of these disciplines are engrained in my business today. I realized early on that better clients = better business and in today’s saturated market – you really MUST niche down to win! You can’t be all things to all people and certainly can’t become an expert at anything if you aren’t focused.
And so, the Better Branding, Better Clients Bootcamp was born!
