Your website should be an extension of your brand, it should not only clarify your value proposition, but give visitors a sense of what you’re about, let them know that you understand their problem, and clarify why your solution is really the only option. And it should do all of this in a way that is engaging and shows off your wonderful brand personality. If you want people to stay and come back, I can’t stress enough, the importance that strategic branding when building a high converting website.
Make Your Value Proposition Crystal Clear
We live in a world filled with billions of people all of whom perceive things differently. We want to ensure that when visitors land on your website that it’s 100% clear what your value proposition is. Visitors should clearly see on your homepage or landing page why they should do business with you and the benefit of it.
Test Your Call-To-Actions And Headlines
Your CTA’s and headlines can make or break your website, and possibly a sale. As mentioned in the intro, the first impression is formed quickly, and the headline is a big part of that impression while the CTA provides a means for them to take the relationship to the next level. It’s important to test and see what resonates most with your visitors.
High Converting Lead Magnet
A lead magnet is a free gift (ebook, case study, infographic, etc.) that you give away in exchange for contact information like an email address, phone number, or full name. It’s the carrot you dangle to get people to enter their contact information into your site’s forms so you can market to them later and send them more valuable information.
SEO Optimize ALL Your Pages
The Google search toolbar has become one of the first things consumers visit when looking for information online, and if your audience can’t find your website, if it’s buried deep in a search engine’s ranking list, then your business will be losing out and all the work you’ve done will be for nothing.
